Tourists from all over the world are attracted by the great adventure of the Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, adventurous travelers who come to explore the fantastic nature, beauty of the landscape and the archeological sites surrounding the Inca Trail, known as the most famous trekking South America. Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - 4 Days and 3 Nights

Day 1: 06:00 - 08:00 Pick up from your hotel and travel in Cusco Bus to km. 82

Beginning of the Inca Trail - Patallacta, Wayllabamba.

Night of Camping.

Day 2: Wayllabamba, Warmi Huañusca (4215m), Pacaymayu, Runkuraccay.

Night of Camping.

Day 3: Runkuruccay, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñayhuayna.

Night of Camping.

Day 4: Wiñaywayna to Inti Punku.

Guided tour in the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.

18:30 - 20:20 Return by train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo.

20:30 - 22:30 Return by tour bus from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.

Day 1: Cusco - Km. 84 - Wayllabamba (Food: A, C)

We will start the tour with pick up from your hotel around 06:00 hrs. We go from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and then to Kilometer 84 where we will make our registration to enter the Inca Trail and we will meet the cooks, porters and other personnel who will accompany us during our great adventure.

From Km 82 we start a light walk that lasts approximately 2 hours until arriving at Miskay, where we can rest and have lunch. Then we will continue with a walk of 3 to 4 hours until arriving at Wayllabamba.

On the way you will see the archaeological group of Patallacta (resting place). Finally, in Huayllabamba we will prepare for dinner and to spend the night in tents or camping shops.

Total Walking Time 5 - 6 hours (12 km.) - Altitude Initial 2750 m - Final 2954 m.

Day 2: Wayllabamba - Pacaymayo (Food: D, A, C)

This day, very early in the morning we will enjoy a delicious mate of coca and then we will have our breakfast.

We start with the trek that lasts about 5 hours until we reach the top of the mountain called Warmihuañusca. From there you will have an impressive panoramic view of the Andes Mountain Range and its surroundings. After a rest of the trip considered as the most difficult, we will continue with the descent for approximately one hour until arriving at our lunch area that will be prepared by the cook.

Afterwards, we will continue the journey until we reach Pacaymayo, where we will have the rest of the day to relax, dine and spend the night in camping tents or tents.

Total Hiking Time 8 hrs (16 km.) - Initial Altitude 3,000 m - Final 3,800 m.

Day 3: Pacaymayo - Wiñay Wayna (Food: D, A, C)

On the third day, after breakfast, continuing with the Inca Trail, we start from Pacaymayo, pass through the archaeological site of Runkuracay, a place of rest and continue walking until arriving at Sayaqmarca, where after appreciating its Inca constructions, we will make a stop In a comfortable area for lunch.

Afterwards, we will continue the walk until we reach Wiñaywayna, where the tents will be set up for dinner and overnight.

Total Hiking Time 8 hrs (16 km.) - Initial Altitude 3800 m - Final 2,650 m.

Day 4: WiñayWayna - Machu Picchu (Food: D)

We will get up to breakfast very early, as we will have a two-hour walk from Wiñaywayna to Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku, here the Inca trail officially concludes. From this place we can admire the great beauty of the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.

After taking a break and relaxing, we will start the awaited visit to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours. We will visit the most important places, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries and much more.

After the guided tour you will have free time to explore, take photos and enjoy one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. At a convenient time you will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where you can have lunch with ease, you can visit the thermal baths or take a walk through the village and craft market.

At 18:30 hrs will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and from there we will take the bus that will bring us back to the city of Cusco. We will be finishing this adventure around 22:30 hrs.

Return by train to Ollantaytambo, return by bus to the city of Cusco.
